- They are pale-colored porpoise found in the Arctic waters and rivers.

- The tusk grows through the Narwhals upper lip.
- Females do sometimes grow their own small tusk.
- Scientists are not sure what the tusk is used for but they think it's used to fight or used for mating rituals.
- Narwhals are related to bottlenose dolphins, belugas, harbor porpoises and orcas.
- They eat fish, shrimp, squid and other sea animals.
- They swim in groups from 15 to 20.
- Their size is 13 to 20 feet.
- They weigh 3,500 pounds.
- People hunt Narwhals for their tusks and skin, it is a source if vitamin c.
- They are carnivores.
- Narwhals have spots and newborns are gray.
- Their scientific name is Monodon monoceros.
